Student Travel Grants

We are grateful to ACM SIGARCH, ACM SIGOPS, ACM SIGPLAN and FUTUREWEI for
financially supporting student travel grants for ASPLOS 2026.

Application deadline: March 2, 2026

  1. You must fill out the Travel Grant Application Form.
  2. We need an email from your advisor, stating that you are a full-time student pursuing a PhD, Master, or Bachelor in the areas covered by ASPLOS. The advisor is also encouraged to comment on your research and on the potential broader impact of making an award to you, e.g., if you are unable to attend the conference without a substantial travel grant. Please send the email to the Student Travel Grants Chairs (asplostravelgrants2026@gmail.com) with the subject line “ASPLOS Student Travel Status Confirmation for <Student Name>.”

Notes for the process:

  • Please save all original receipts. You will need to submit them after the conference.
  • Funds can be applied to transportation and lodging between March 21 and March 27, 2026.
  • The confirmation email from the applicant’s advisor must be received by the deadline of March 2, 2026. Your application is considered incomplete without it. We will not solicit letters from your advisor. It is your responsibility to ensure that your advisor sends the email before the deadline. No exception will be made for any reason.
  • We will reimburse travel expenses (Flight, Hotel, Taxi, Cab, Shuttle, Meals, Mileage, Parking) and will not reimburse registration fees.
  • Depending on the source of funding, some awardees will be required to follow additional steps such as: emailing the travel grant chair a short essay describing their ASPLOS experience or their favorite paper, performing additional application steps or providing proof of travel demonstrating that a U.S.-flag carrier was used or that the ticket was issued through a U.S. carrier etc. Travel grant awardees will be informed of this requirement at the time of award decision notification.
