{"id":13,"date":"2019-05-12T17:50:27","date_gmt":"2019-05-12T21:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asplos.hosting2.acm.org\/wp\/?page_id=13"},"modified":"2021-04-26T16:24:02","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T20:24:02","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/asplos-conference.org\/","title":{"rendered":"ASPLOS 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Thank you all for making ASPLOS 2021 such a success!\u00a0Registration is now closed, and in a couple weeks we will begin the transfer of videos and other conference materials to a more permanent home.\u00a0In the mean time, rest up and get your best ideas ready to submit to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href="https://asplos-conference.org/2021/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/\&quot;https:\/\/asplos-conference.org\/2022\/ASPLOS22.pdf\&quot;" target=\"_blank\">ASPLOS 2022 in Lausanne Switzerland<\/a>!<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>ASPLOS is the premier forum for interdisciplinary systems research, intersecting computer architecture, hardware and emerging technologies, programming languages and compilers, operating systems, and networking. While the 26th edition of ASPLOS will be held virtually, attendance is still going to be an amazing way to connect with this innovative and engaged research community.&nbsp; We want everyone to meet new people, connect with old friends, and learn all kinds of amazing new things from people the world over. Unfortunately scheduling the entire globe into a shared meeting at a time convenient to them is impossible\u2026 and we also realize many of you can&#8217;t just lock your door for 12 hours and say you are &#8220;traveling&#8221; to everyone in your life.&nbsp; So this year we are doing at least three things that are new:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><li>First, we are spreading the content across more weekdays to make it easier to balance participation with the rest of our responsibilities.&nbsp; The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href="https://asplos-conference.org/2021/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/\&quot;https:\/\/asplos-conference.org\/program\/\&quot;" target=\"_blank\"><strong>main conference program <\/strong><\/a>(technical papers, keynotes, networking opportunities, and more) will run Monday April 19th to through Friday 23rd.&nbsp; A wonderful lineup of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href="https://asplos-conference.org/2021/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/\&quot;https:\/\/asplos-conference.org\/tutorials\/\&quot;" target=\"_blank\"><strong>tutorials and workshops<\/strong><\/a> happen the week prior Monday the 12th through Friday the 16th.<br><\/li>\n<br><li>Second, rather than just &#8220;pick a single time&#8221; for synchronous interaction and force people into it, or try and split the conference population along some arbitrary 12 hour divide, ASPLOS will split its scheduled synchronous interaction across <strong>two sessions per day<\/strong> at <strong>14:00-17:00 GMT (Session M<\/strong>) and <strong>23:00-02:00 GMT (Session E)<\/strong>.&nbsp; We realize that while for a few of you all of the listed times will be great, for others only one of the two times will be at all reasonable to attend at all.&nbsp; Which is why..<br><\/li>\n<br><li>Third, we are making the talks available ahead of time so you are free to watch and post questions or comments on our <a href="https://asplos-conference.org/2021/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/\&quot;https:\/\/app.clowdr.org\/conference\/asplos2021\&quot;" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>conference live site<\/strong><\/a> at whatever time is good for you!&nbsp; Even if you can\u2019t make it to the live Q&amp;A sessions you can still engage in the discussion and hear from the people behind the research.
